Richard Hillyer – Guitar Lessons Bristol – Bristol Guitar Lessons
For those of my students who are still at school, I have always felt that the summer holidays were a great time to start playing the guitar. So why have guitar lessons in Bristol now? Because you have time to come and see me and as importantly, you have plenty of time to practise. I know that once school starts again there are so many more distractions, homework and other pressures, so finding time to practise those chords can be difficult, and this can slow your progress down. Once progress slows down then motivation drops off, and results just never seem to come quick enough.
However in the summer holidays the results you can achieve in a short time with regular guitar lessons in Bristol will have a huge impact on your desire not just to play the guitar, but to make the most of each and every lesson. Learning to play the guitar doesn’t happen overnight, but give yourself an eight week period in the summer and you will be amazed at how much you can achieve. I have been teaching guitar for 7 years now so I am also still plenty young enough for you not to feel like you are being taught by your Grandad either!
One other great thing about having guitar lessons in Bristol during your summer holidays is knowing what you will be able to say to your friends when you get back to school when they ask you what you got up to over the summer. They will be extremely jealous and envious when you say ” I learned to play the guitar”, especially if all they did was spend the holidays playing on their X Box or PS4. So why not take advantage of all that spare time coming up and our current offers and get in contact, it could be the best thing you have done in ages!
